Whatsapp is introducing a new feature where users can set the duration/timer for their messages, the message automatically deletes when the timer expires. WhatsApp has rolled out this feature but still not available for the majority of Android users. The feature is available on the Beta version number 2.19.348 & for Users who have enrolled themselves for Google Play, the beta programme can download the latest version. Users can auto-Delete text as well as media ( pictures & videos) messages.
According to blog webBetaInfo, for the time being, this feature is rolled out only for WhatsApp groups where group admin can set the timer for auto-deletion of the message.
Auto-Deleting message is taken from WhatsApp rival app called Signals. In the case of WhatsApp, message timer can be set from 1hour to 1 year.
Like everyone we all are waiting for this feature to appear.
