As expected, today Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) bans popular content sharing mobile app TikTok. TikTok is banned over the complaints from different segments of society for sharing indecent & vulgar content.
Tiktok is a Chinese video-sharing app owned by ByteDance founded in 2012. Pakistan is not the first country to ban Tiktok, it is already banned in India, Indonesia, Bangladesh & recently in the USA every country has it's own reasons to ban the application.
Let's see for how long authorities keep it a ban, a few weeks back PTA banned PubG another popular game but that ban was temporary and the decision was reversed after few weeks.
