Reading books is always a good idea and a good habit to cultivate. Books enrich the mind to acquire a depth of knowledge on diverse topics of life. It allows readers to understand others perspective about different aspects of life. Fiction teaches about empathy, life, emotions while business books freshen up your mind for new ideas, enrich us how to avoid a pitfall in business adventures.
The best way to read and learn is to clear up your mind before reading on any topic, we always have the opportunity to agree or to disagree with the author but at least, we know there is always the second opinion.
I have enjoyed reading many business books & biographies. An excellent recent one is "Losing My Virginity" by Richard Branson, it gives you an idea about roller coaster life of an entrepreneur and then a billionaire. Another book which is wroth reading is "Your Network is your Networth" by Porter Gale. Both of these books are highly recommended for anyone either you are in business or not.
